Dear Fans, Music & Film enthusiasts, and Global Changemakers, Our ocean is both the source and the sustainer of all life on earth. It covers over 70 % of our planet and produces over 70 % of its oxygen. Despite of this 93% of fish stocks are fully fished or depleted, 75% of coral reefs are projected to die by 2050 and 8-12 million metric tons of plastic end up in our ocean every year. We at Team IVA (http://www.innervoiceartists.com) and Team YouthMundus (http://www.youthmundus.com) want to help fight this development by devoting at least a day to it at our festival! Since we have promised our audience and attendees the best possible content, we have worked hard on securing the best possible collaborators. Oceanic Global engages new audiences in ocean conservation with responsible consumption as their call to action. They work with leading scientists, conservationists, artists, and industry experts to drive positive change. Their program, The Oceanic Standard (TOS), provides industry-specific guidelines for adopting sustainable practices, and they have already helped us immensely during the planning of YouthMundus.
