FESTIVAL Venue

We are targeting to host our first festival edition from 14th to 17th November, 2019 at EX CASERMA GUIDO RENI in Rome, Italy. This venue is the home of our main festival partner Videocitta, which is one of the most successful and extensive visual festivals in Italy, taking place throughout the autumn. The venue is centrally and strategically located just opposite of MAXXI, the National Museum of Contemporary Art.

HISTORY OF THE VENUE

Today's space is the result of the redevelopment of a former military barracks performed by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP), one of a few sustainability orientated investment companies in Italy which facilitate the achievement of the 17 SDGs and integrate the concept of sustainability into their business activities and policies.

ABOUT THE VENUE

The GUIDO RENI area, unique in its kind, consists of 23 independent and versatile post-industrial spaces. Each space has distinctive features and different sizes ranging from 300 sqm to 1200 sqm. Its proximity to the MAXXI - National Museum of XXI Century Arts and to the Auditorium Parco della Musica speaks volumes about the artistic and musical atmosphere that reigns here.
