IVA is incredibly excited to announce our new partnership with the non-profit organisation Amazon Watch, in association with YouthMundus. The Amazon rainforest is the world’s largest and most biodiverse tropical rainforest, covering an area larger than the continental United States.
It is also the world's largest terrestrial carbon sink and plays a critical role in regulating the global climate. Our mutual vision and mission is to protect the Amazon Basin by supporting and protecting human rights of indigenious peoples, as nearly 400 distinct indigenous peoples depend on the Amazon rainforest for their physical and cultural survival.
Together we look forward to utilizing our voices as well as the universal language and power of entertainment and media to stop Amazon destruction, advance indigenious solutions, and support climate justice.
