A New Global Short Content & Music Festival for Youth!
Our Foundation, Values and Mission
Our mission is to raise awareness about important and time sensitive social issues, affecting today’s global youth. Our fundamental objectives are to gather, connect and inspire young voices from around the globe to speak up and stand in solidarity to encourage YOUTH to believe that change is possible by enforcing and promoting equity, respect, tolerance, love, solidarity, authenticity, peace, justice, unity, safety, inclusion and humanity.

Our values are inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These 17 goals serve as a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. SDGs address the global challenges we face today, including those related to poverty, inequality, discrimination, climate, education, violence, human rights, environmental degradation, prosperity, peace, war conflicts, gun violence and justice.
For YouthMundus 2019 edition, we will have our focus on two main SDG related topics; one being climate and sustainable lifestyle, the other one being mental well-being and human rights.
More About YouthMundus Festival Initiative
The festival will take place over the course of long weekend and will include a diverse lineup of artists alongside various activities such as: visual, digital and expressive art installations; performances and exhibitions; organic, green and eco-friendly activities; charity and good causes activities; interactive, multimedia, and immersive high-tech activities; awareness raising panel discussions, workshops and fan meetings, including autograph signings and photo booth areas.
Each year, one festival theme song will be chosen for its powerful and socially impactful message, and the artist(s) will serve as the festival’s honoree(s). The theme song must address important social issues ranging anywhere from gun violence, climate change, LGBTQI+ issues, women's rights, human rights to mental illness, and more.
In addition to the theme song, we are aiming to select global films, from as many different countries as possible, with a 50/50 female to male director ratio, addressing similar social topics as the theme song. There will be an award ceremony at the end of the festival, where we will choose the best film in different theme categories.
